We'd like to introduce you to some of the Dandies who were rescued long before DDTRL came into existence, these are our source of inspiration. We honor and treasure their memories. Once rescued, most Dandies have lived in happy anonymity just like any other dog. But there are a few who became poster kids for Dandie rescue because of their courage even in the face of blindness or other serious health problems and sometimes just because of their incredible personalities.  

So here are their stories...these Dandies reached deep into our hearts and we hope they will do the same for you.
