Dreamer
was taken from a Kansas puppy mill in a USDA
seizure. The first 7 years of her existence
were spent in a mill producing litter after
litter for the trade.
She was transported to a shelter and due to
a clerical error was scheduled to be
euthanized on the same day her rescue was
effected. From the moment we collected her
at the airport she showed us her enthusiasm
to live. Her will to survive inspired me and
kept her going thru her diagnosis of mammary
gland adenocarcinoma, glaucoma and later
chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
