The
Dandie now known as Smokey was born in a
Midwestern puppy mill and DDTRL found him
and his littermates advertised on a web site.
He and his litterbrother were put up at
auction and DDTRL bought them there. His new
owner saw the pic of the two boys with the
auction tags hanging off their toes and
showed it to her husband - they both fell in
love immediately. Today the dirty, scruffy
little puppy is a handsome young man who
pretty much does as he pleases, having
become the first Dandie in the new owner´s
life to ever claim the privilege of sleeping
on the bed with his human servants. :-)
